Great reporting, Richard! Makes one wonder how much Portland taxpayers are paying, in total, for DEI fluff. Tens of millions seems a reasonable ballpark, and that might be low.

I used to enjoy Portland.
Knowing a bit of PNW history I get that a somewhat larger element of radicalism has existed here for a very long time.
However allowing l drek to actually be in control,
you get what you get
As usual with societies throughout history the pendulum will swing the other way.
I'd like to think I'd live to see it
Or at least the inevitable pushback. I've worked gathering information and made lists.
At this point I think what needs to happen must be nation wide.
Portland, Seattle,San Francisco and Los Angeles and their respective state capitols are cancers but so is almost every large city in the county.
The FUSA is terminal.
I have concluded this & have began to plan accordingly.
I continue to stress to New Orelans family and friends that Portlandia was a documentary, not a spoof
