As a ties in ,one supposes that if the trannie was cutting up hack drivers for small change he was a bum, too.

That cabbie recently butchered in Portland was murdered by a transexual. Out of town newspaper stenographers remarked it. Locals won’t. Wore a tiara to work that night she did. The press tried to overlook the “Tans Day of Vengence” as well as a couple other trans mass murder plots and murders.

To think I woke up sickened after reading of the mass trampling of the Darien Gap as America’s open borders drained. S. America. Thank god we live in a sanctuary city. Few of those millions will speak English and even fewer will be suited for information age employment. So we'll have multicultural and intersectional bum towns. So, there is that.

Wow, THAT was synchronicity! Just last week I posed a question asking how a day center for the homeless got plopped down in the middle of an already struggling hotel, shopping and entertainment district - and presto, here’s all the ins-and-outs on 333 SW Park.

I know it wasn’t quite “presto” - all those connected dots surely took a lot of sleuthing, then assembly into a compelling narrative. Thank you Richard Cheverton for another great piece of investigative journalism. And what a strange, winding and troubling tale it is. Unfortunately it didn’t make me feel any better about the prospects for our once beautiful city.

“Janie has been convicted of more than 12 felonies. She spent five years in and out of county jails before serving two years in prison. It was there she was given a second chance.”

Prison gave her a second chance. It takes discipline to get off drugs.

But in Deborah Kafoury’s world anything that carries a hint of incarceration doesn’t fit her values. She could find millions to spend on a derelict building, but she couldn’t find the money to open the never-used Wapato Jail. She and other progressives on the county board shunned Wapato. (Former commissioner Loretta Smith pretended to care about Wapato but wouldn’t run against Kafoury on the issue.)

Wapato didn’t look like a jail. It had no cells. It had bunk rooms. It had been designed with a certain number of beds for alcohol and substance abusers. It had a dental office and a medical office.

Just how phony was Kafoury’s commitment to helping the homeless? When Jordan Schnitzer came to the rescue with a proposal to buy Wapato and turn it into a transition shelter for the homeless called Bybee Lakes Hope Center, Kafoury made no effort to help it succeed. Even worse, when it appeared the project wasn’t going to come together, the county gleefully issued a memo crowing, “(W)e welcome them to join us and support the Downtown Behavioral Health Resource Center.”

At one point, someone went in and stripped Wapato’s dental and medical offices and the kitchen of its equipment.

It must gall Kafoury that Bybee Lakes Hope Center now provides shelter to families with children -- away from the downtown drug camps.

I caught this yesterday.

https://www.opb.org/article/2023/03/26/oregon-legislature-kotek-proposal-increase-state-authority-over-school-districts/

I immediately thought of the Newberg schools that vetoed BLM,CRT and trans sex ed. Ever felt bad because your 4th grader doesn't realize life could cheat her out of a clitoral orgasm? Or, boys, by simply rolling over..., chest binders in the cupboard anyone? Child Welfare could be after you should you and your little white swine complain.

Surely, my grotesque imagination is depraved, lewd, and racist. It couldn't possibly happen anywhere, much less here.

I just ache reading this.

Portland, Chicago, D.C., the Border - progressive hellzones that ensure the death of our nation or its metamorphoses into a pissoir of progressive piety. I used to read comics. That's where I learned of the Shirt of Nessus. American would rather writhe in slow fry than pitch ourselves into the fire and so end it. This is a choice. It is all what we have freely chosen.

Recently, I've been reading about the American efforts in the great mid-century war. Especially the Saipan effort. Americans! What a people! Large and small, petty and corrupt, large and self-sacrificing: mankind writ large and in full. God, the social and technological innovation, the energetic dynamism of a great and free people.

Our determined work in the years after the war to police ourselves, to improve ourselves, our fantastic and ugly shortcomings, our determination for a better nation and world. God, I loved us like some sap, but I loved us.

What have we become? It is enshrined in the cynosure of Dylan Mulvaney. In Portland, Oregon and what used to be the Mexican Border.

The strangest thing is that adults seem to believe that this can go on forever, that the dollar will be forever and always thee currency, social security will always be there, law and order, a coherent military . . ., but things that can't go on wont.

Another great example of your factual, well researched and humorous as Heck journalism!!

This was a great read! I often wonder when these fools will learn the Fentanyl Camp “bums” and their generally hopeless addicts are laughing at them? Most of them are too brain damaged to even want sobriety anymore.

Is it really worth destroying a city over?

Pathological Altruism strikes again.
