Well, this story got legs and did so rapidly. The PAT have been exposed in Portland's MSM for the terrorist sympathizers they are. Kudos to Mr. Cheverton and to Portland's Jewish leaders for exposing the PAT's hateful radicalism. Ideally, subsequent reporting will identify the individuals within PAT most responsible for this outrage. Unfortunately, part of what the PAT created in order to indoctrinate our youth was still up on the PAT website as of yesterday.

Now if only the public would wake up to the fact that the promoters in K-12 public schools of gender identity ideology and the idea of "trans kids" are just as radical and equally wrong.

It’s good to see the Portland Jewish community is pushing back against the anti-Semitism of Angela Bonilla and her PAT. Take a look:

Things likes the subject matter described above and the Trump trials bring to mind this scene's concluding remarks by More. You needn't love Trump but you must love the protection of citizens. Should the term "citizen" retain its fixed and traditonal meaning in American law:

The scene has become a cliched but cliches too often have a fixed anchor in reality

It's not that they "don't care to learn the facts about what is going on" but rather that they intentionally ignore facts and oppose the idea of learning. This intentional doublethink is contagious and there is a pandemic of ignorance and stupidity flooding the PPS classrooms. It's even worse than what Orwell had predicted.

My second child graduates from PPS this Thursday; Grant HS - this is entirely accurate. My wife who teaches at a PPS Title I school, of Jewish heritage, is routinely the object of racist barbs - many of which came from the woman who led the teacher strike last year. Make no mistake people, the objective for an increasing share of PPS teachers (and certainly the Teacher Union - see Richard Cheverton's latest riff) has ZERO to do with education and 1,000% with instilling their version of reality, viewpoint and secular religion of illiberalism (anti-racism, gender ideology, oppression theory).

One question: What happened to Cultural Appropriation. How can all these kids wear the dress of another country? 🤣🤣 When we thought it was flattery to create food from "say Mexico" and not be Mexican (I know bad word) or wear cornrows when we were white we were called all sorts of names. Now it's okay to appropriate cultural differences? What changed? I guess I missed that memo. It's so hard to keep up with the current trends of what is acceptable and what is not. 😩

How tragic to think that these people all have postgraduate degrees but don’t care to learn the facts about what is going on, and the contentious history of this conflict.

All this just ads fuel to my argument that the PPS System needs to be “blown up”! The sickness that infects this organization has passed the point of no return , and the only rational solution is to just shut the whole thing down. The buildings can be rented to an assortment of Charter type Schools with a requirement that the main portion of the day be spent in teaching the three “r’s”, and STEM classes. Once the traditional subjects have been taught, the schools can then teach subjects and skills that are important to the students, their parents, and the neighborhood that they are located in.

The new schools will be able to hire the best teachers and administrators from the former PPS, and then offer the remaining spots to outstanding educators from other areas. All of these people will be paid significantly higher salaries, as the schools will be operated in a businesslike fashion devoid of political waste and teachers unions.

Let’s get the people who value the education of our children get busy creating the highest performing schools in the nation. We are paying for it already and new leadership and educational processes will enable us to provide the education that our children and our communities deserve

Unfortunately that will never happen (at least not in the next 10-15 years) Did you see the 3 finalists for the superintendent? It’s all identity politics at PPS thanks to the current school board. Most voters and parents either support this or are too scared to speak up. Nothing will change I’m afraid until people vote differently.

Absolutely! As far as I can see we have zero chance of returning to the Portland that existed 10 years ago. We will know for certain in November after the City and County elections are held, but I don’t think there is any chance that the Portland voters will do a 180 and start climbing out of the hole that they have dug 🤷🏼‍♂️

It is very gratifying to read someone whose anger over this insane PAT/Hamas episode matches my own. In a sane world, parents would be rioting over the production and dissemination of this document among educators.

Meanwhile, millions have died in the Genocide in Congo, but silence on that one, and the other genocides that are actually occurring in the world, those don't seem to matter to these white saviors. This is a great example of social psychology. It's the trend to be for Palestine. You know KIDS are dying in Congo, but they're black so...

Can you speak on that? And who are YOU to call anyone "fat" Tiny Tim? Are you a bully? A typical white man who thinks HE comes first? And what about "da Jews" hmmmm? You are a RACIST antisemitic HYPOCRITE. Bring it on Tiny Tim. :)
