I learned a word today that might be useful in referring to these fair-minded veterans of progressive public safety: zampolits.
Yes, these people are a Mean Girl's League of Opportunism. During the light/dark thing I was hoping we would get to flinging charges of an octoroon posing as a quadroon while actually being a hexadecaroon. In other words, these kids are mad racists. If the Oregonian or the Willamette Week would run the Fitzsimmons piece . . . no, this is Portland. Nothing would come of it save that each of the complainants would attract her own legion of the bitter.
Gregg, Taylor, and David represent the flaccidity endemic to Portland males and so save us the bother of considering their points of view, should they have them. We can, however, infer what those POVs might be: whatever the mean girls told them was their POV.
Portland didn't get to this point overnight and so we won’t get to full Baltimore or St Louis tomorrow. But, groups of concerned citizens such as these ensure that we'll reach full Cleveland in my lifetime. The Oregon high school education reform was a critical step forward for the state in guaranteeing an unlimited supply of CRC committee actors.
JoAnn had the city attorney send us an email a couple of months ago and threaten us with legal action if we didn't stop what they said was harassment of her. Not true. We had sent emails asking her various questions and they accused us of harassment (they know we don't support her) and the city attorney, some guy named Robert Taylor or something emailed us. This was a couple of months ago. I did a screen shot of the email and then posted it on my FB, got lots of comments. LOL... it was a HOOT.

I hope he speaks out and the media will amplify as Candace and Shaina did while representing the City of Portland. Lastly the Mayor and the City Auditor should investigate.

It's absolute bonkers that these are the people with responsibility for overseeing our police force. How many laws and rules did they break by holding this public witch hunt over microagressions? Apparently they didn't read the emails publicly, but accused Mozyrsky of misconduct. Isn't that defamation at the very least? I googled Candace Avalos, and she seems to be a big supporter of Hardesty. Doesn't there appear to be a conflict of interest in being the judge, jury and executioner presiding in this kangaroo court over a Hardesty opponent? This is slimy.
Isn't it odd that no one else in Portland media is covering these Kangaroo courts? Thanks, Pam--and our sympathy for having to sit through this nonsense.
