This is so interesting. I asked my daughter and her friend last year (then age 14) "what is the difference between gay and queer?" (I was puzzling over it). They asserted these are different, very different, but couldn't quite articulate what queer was. Now I know! My college age daughter -- liberal, at a liberal arts college, white- tells me "white kids don't feel special, different, white/hetero is boring, so they add all these qualifiers to their profiles." It will be fun to see if this is a trend that fades.

Thanks for this. Sounds like today’s “queer” is code for “subversive”.

The reigning fiefdoms of poly-victimhood have as many stories as identities. That is, they are splinters from the log of wokeness. Some will need "therapy" to survive the hostility of others, real or imagined. Still others will need pedestals to celebrate their triumph over cisgendered oppressors. You can dye your hair pink and blue but unless you are given adequate resources such as reparations, your victimhood will be forever tainted by the privileges of so-called gays. See also;: sellouts.

There is no revolution without first aligning oneself with other victims.. We need to dominate the privileged and advantaged since compensatory justice must be earned on the carcass of white supremacism. not to mentions suspected allies. Now you understand how interconnected Portland necessarily is. Be careful you're not left behind.
