Not HER again? God, she’s such a tedious basket case, loud mouth, whiny tool. I despise Antifa. I wrote a long essay on them, loaded to exploding with sources/links, and said everything I’d ever wanted to say about those unwashed hooligans. Spammed it to Kingdom come, too. Several of them threatened me, and went after me on Twitter. The actual TRUTH about those mental cases is what they fear the most.

I was listening to this Victor Davis Hanson discussion with Heather McDonald. As this marvelous article has not been weighed down with comments I'll throw this out there.

It is a commercial ienterprise so recall that you can drag and hop past the adverts:

Thanks. It’s refreshing to hear someone defend Western civilization for a change. You don’t find that too often in our news media, which owes its First Amendment protections to a group of deceased white men of European ancestry.

Perhaps the most important important aspect of their conversation was its urgency. Have you ever seen a Japanese painting in which a tsunami wave is curling like a 2/3s of a frothy quonset hut lip over people on the shore?

What we are doing and have done is, I fear, irretrievably reckless. This will not go on much longer. It cannot.

Excellent analysis and commentary about Portland and the "Antifa" crazies who scream and assault people in the name of Black Lives Matter when really don't give a flying jelly bean FART about black lives. A bunch of mentally ill freaks who don't work and can only sell their bodies in what they call "sex work" because they have no marketable skills, or beg for "donations" to their social media accounts because none of them have ever actually had a job or paid for to live as responsible adults.

BLM was never a valid cause to begin with, you know. People sidestep the fact that it's mainly an anti-police, thug rights group that cherry picks resisted arrests and trivializes the crimes behind them. It has no real depth of premise, and then there's the Marxist aspect.

I totally agree with you, there. Don't get me started on BLM owner and operator, Patrice Cullers, and her FIVE mansions. A black friend of mine used this phrase and it always stuck with me. He told me once, "Those are the kind of black people who use the Poverty Pimp Hustle as a way to survive, rather than work." I never forgot that. The Poverty Pimp Hustle. Yep, that is Patrice Cullers and BLM to a T.

In a nutshell, racism was blacks' biggest enemy for many decades, then came 1960s welfare (white guilt went too far) allowing fatherless families, then came rising crime due to aimless boys joining gangs, then came rap music as crime's soundtrack, and now violence seems unstoppable among them.

BLM wants us to skip the whole broken families & crime part and only discuss police's imperfect reactions to blacks' social mess. I see no way out of it except to brace for more riots.

One so wishes to do some outreach to the Mongols. Portland is open for business!

BLM/Antifa - rotten thief gangs supported by all levels of government and the majority of Portland voters. Everything is so bloodily self-evident it is nearly beyond comment.

Last year I emailed and spoke on the telephone with the Oregonian's Bernstein when Antifa/BLM were regularly seizing interstate w/sidearms and long guns or else it might have gone completely unreported. One can only conclude the cops were held back and the press endorsed the gangster action.

The left will not quit, it will not back down. It owns Portland thanks to Portland voters and I suppose the nation's public education system. I cannot see the left ever giving up their superb and assured Portland fief. I cannot see Portland voter's voting for change or wishing to stay in the Union: they are ignorant, pious, hateful and well-heeled and impregnably powerful.

All you can do is chronicle and takes notes so that future generations will understand that some few people understood what they were seeing

I don't think the majority of Portland voters really support Antifa. Many are just too mealy-mouthed to say what they really think (but that does make them culpable). A scientific poll on the degree of support would ease minds, since it can feel like you're living among aliens here.

They say Portland was settled largely by northern European immigrants (like Norwegians) with stoic tendencies of letting bad behavior slide to keep the peace. This is theorized as an origin of "Portland polite," which can be superficial. Leftists arriving many decades later may have assumed they were approved of, rather than just tolerated.

Brilliant column. This came out after Pam filed, but there were armed people (rifles, no less) among the "demonstrators." So much for "peaceful protests."

Meanwhile the reporting on the latest Southeast side "drive-by" shooting lacks one key piece of information: the race of the victims and shooters.Odd, how that "lens" of racism works.
