History shows the "rise and fall" of great cities. Portland was never "great" but it was really good. Not it has fallen and is still falling. Sad. Its "governments" and "non-profits" all competing for a slice of what's left. -

Wonderful job on a serious subject with just the right amount of humor and sarcasm 😂 Too bad Montavilla didn't align with Lents when we both "May" have had a chance to stand up against the Machine! 😫
It would be the rare “community meeting” where the City actually listened to and followed the advice of average community members. The results are usually predetermined, and citizen participants are just for show and to fulfill the requirements for a public hearing under administrative law.
